As Celtic prepare for their upcoming Scottish Cup final against Inverness CT next Saturday there’s added controversy with regards to the TV coverage plans for the game. And there is a possibility that many fans could end up missing out on the start of the match, depending upon how things play out in the FA Cup final between the two Manchester giants.
Fans of both clubs were already unhappy at the Scottish Cup final being moved from its traditional 3 pm kick off to 5:30 pm in order to avoid being played at the same time as the FA Cup final. And there could be further complications due to it.
The explanation was that the decision was taken to give the Hampden Park match the best opportunity to be seen across the UK. But it might not turn out that way.
As reported by the Daily Record, if the FA Cup final goes to extra-time and penalties, then the Scottish Cup final will start on BBC Scotland and move to BBC One Scotland when the former is finished.
